"Antigone" And "Death Of A Salesman": Tragedy of Antigone and Willy Loman
[ send me this essay ]
5 pages in length. A great deal of maturity and moral development occurs in "Antigone" and "Death of a Salesman," with particular regard to lead characters Antigone and Willy Loman. Respective to these central characters, each one comes to various conclusions with regard to the acceptance of reality, issues of heroism and morality and, perhaps above all, the concept of their own mortality. The writer discusses that inasmuch as both characters derive their ultimate conclusions on account of individual occurrences, one can readily argue that the path to enlightenment may have been different, but the ultimate outcome reaped the same benefit. No additional sources cited.
